Unique Venetian-style rooms, but be ready for steep stairs with heavy luggage. Enjoyed the wonderful walking tours Alessandra offers.

missingWrote a review on 17 Novartfully decorated accommodationluggage inconveniencecramped breakfast area
Accommodation is unique and artfully decorated.
We were not informed about the lack of elevators, making it extremely challenging to carry our heavy luggage up a steep flight of 30 steps. Additionally, the breakfast area is cramped, which made our morning very uncomfortable. The rules prohibiting eating or drinking in the rooms felt overly strict and added to our frustration.

The breakfast overlooking the Grand Canal was a magical start to each day, especially with the unique cappuccino mugs served.
One minor downside was that the pillows could have been more comfortable, as they felt a bit too firm for my liking.

while this place has character, the cramped breakfast area absolutely ruined every morning. Then there’s the quilt in the closet, which I guess is nice, if I wanted a vintage adventure, but I expected a plush mattress, not a hard lump. I almost considered a good review but just couldn’t. Staff could’ve done more to make me feel special, honestly.

A lovely atmosphere filled with traditional Venetian charm enhanced by delightful, varied breakfast options, including a fun make-your-own pancake machine. However, the lack of elevators made lugging heavy suitcases a challenge, and the breakfast area felt a bit tight during peak hours, detracting slightly from the experience.
